I’ve been a nurse practitioner for 13 years and I’ve been at PPLA for three and a half years. I love my job and I love the collaborative environment. Working with other NPs and PAs, exchanging experiences and learning together is one of the things I enjoy most. PPLA truly cares about their employees and I feel confident that our voices are heard. This organization constantly works on improving itself and I highly recommend working here both for newly licensed and experienced professionals.

Our work has staying power Planned Parenthood was founded on the revolutionary idea that everyone must have the ability to make their own health care decisions and determine their own lives. One hundred years later, this fundamental principle is still being tested – and we are still committed to serving the individuals and families who rely on us. We’ve remained a mainstay for reproductive care and a reputable employer of choice, and our doors stay open – no matter what. It is not an easy task, but with the dedication of our team, we continue to grow stronger each and every day.
  • We all do our part.
  • We understand how our mission depends on our financial stability.
  • We protect our brand.
  • We actively seek opportunities to improve our bottom line.
  • We foster a culture of ethical behavior.
We care for our business

Our impact is our greatest reward

We believe that the effects we have on patients and our community are the true reward. With 91% of our patients living at or below the federal poverty level, we are caring for people who don’t have access to vital health and reproductive services. Because of the dedication of our team and the many volunteers who work with us, tens of thousands of people have access to life-saving cancer screenings, breast exams, birth control, STD testing and treatment, and a variety of other services.

  • We base our decisions on what’s best for our mission.
  • We remind each other why we are here.
  • We proudly build a reproductive justice movement.
  • We face adversity head on.
  • We tell inspiring stories about why our work matters.

At PPLA, I get to work with great co-workers every day and I believe in the care that we give our patients. If PPLA wasn’t here, so many of our patients would not receive the health care they deserve. I am constantly rewarded by seeing the difference I make for the patients we care for. I have been able to grow as a clinician and continue to broaden my skills and knowledge with PPLA.
